Mo's Esszimmer in Schonaich

Since I discovered Mo’s dining room in Lieferando, I thought I’ll just give it a try. So I ordered cevapcici with fries and salad (€ 10.90). An hour later the food finally arrived, but unfortunately it was completely cold. So I called Mo’s and complained about the food. Mo was very friendly, even if he didn't apologize for it, and offered me a replacement delivery. These were then delivered another 35 minutes later. The lady who delivered the food was also friendly but instead of offering me compensation, she asked me to return the first meal 🤣. Of course, even if a bit irritated, I complied with this request. The food itself tasted really good. However, in my opinion, the portion should have been larger in relation to the price. Summary: The food was good and Mo was friendly and immediately responded to my complaint. However, I consider a delivery time of a little over 1.5 hours to be far too long. However, mistakes are human and unless they are repeated I can overlook them. Whereas my understanding stops when I am supposed to return my “old” food and receive no apology or compensation for the inconvenience. In other restaurants an i. d. Usually a compensation in the form of a dessert or similar. offered. Here it gives the impression that I am not even allowed the “garbage” 🤣. Last but not least, I think the portion is pretty small in relation to the price. So I will probably not order from Mo’s again. Pity!

Meat very good. French fries rather bland and hardly cross. You also have to buy them. Other side dishes only for a surcharge. The service cannot really advise and does not know the dishes.

Food really great! Tastes very tasty, whether burger or steak. Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the price. With 2 people you can easily leave 80 to 100 € here, which is not a problem in itself, but then you can expect adequate service. Will try again next time in Holzgerlingen. Let's see how it goes there.

Reserved a table yesterday. When we arrived (even 5 minutes after our reservation), there were still guests from a party, leftovers were everywhere and the tables were still full of dishes. After we stood around for 5 minutes and didn't know what to do with us, a lady came and said, completely unfriendly, “Yes, you have to wait another 15 minutes, I have to clean up first”. If you know that a party is taking place and the table is not yet free at that time, you should not confirm a reservation. In addition, the lady could have told us a little nicer and maybe just offered us something to drink. Unfortunately, this had nothing to do with customer friendliness. Went to another restaurant and won't be back. Pity!

Two people brought completely wrong dishes, one burger was missing 3 components, fries only up to half the basket full and cold, instead of sweet potato fries, cold regular fries were also brought. Main course (when finally correct) also lukewarm. The food was once good and is now getting worse and worse, even acquaintances have had a very similar experience (wrong food and cold). edit to the answer of the owner: "Stay at home and swing the pan for your sweetheart girl." Rarely read such an unprofessional answer. The whole concept of your restaurant will not work if you encourage people to "stay at home and swing the pan". But yes, before I spend money here the next time, I actually prefer to stay at home or go where you don't get any snippy and derogatory (for you I'm not a "girl") comment for constructive and factual criticism. Urgently change something about your nature, otherwise it will only make you look worse.

Louisiana Burger is amazingly tasty. I came with high hopes and it didn't disappoint. Pulled pork Burger is also good but a little bit too sweet for me. I highly recommend this place.

The dishes look very tasty. Unfortunately, our visit on Tuesday was not so pleasant: - / The salad 🥗 was extremely sour and there was definitely too much vinegar in it. Unfortunately the waitress did not understand a lot. And so one thing came after the other something was missing and a lot was mixed up, in terms of taste so far in order and very well prepared, optics perfect! . However, we expected more.

Mo is amazingly chef and wonderful person. Love the atmosphere at the Schonaich location. Beautiful food and atmosphere!

The quality of the food is excellent, the service can be expanded, the location on Bahnhofstrasse is not very romantic.

All I want to say is this place is aboslutely AMAZING! Being American and living in this town, it is definitely my favorite place to eat at. Hosts are friendly and do their best to communicate with me and my lack of German. The owner has come out to check on us and ask how the food is. He did this on our first visit, and it really made me appreciate him due to us having multiple bad experiences at restaurants . They are strict and uphold the COVID laws. Sanitizing chairs, tables etc. Wearing masks except for people eating there. Huge difference between them and a few other places I have been to to eat. Food is great, prices are affordable! I have been there multiple times, my review is long overdue.

There were three of us there, you should really reserve it was fully booked. Food, drink, ambience and staff make a very good overall impression. It is really worth visiting. The chef sometimes appears in the dining room and looks extremely authentic, he is really interested in the opinion of his guests about what he gives out to eat. We would love to come back.

Best Burgers in the area

Food: Grade 1 prepared with passion and cooked! Chef and staff: Grade 1 because super friendly! The boss takes the time to greet every single customer and to ask for their welfare! Were there for 1x but welcomed as if we were already regulars! That alone brings nothing if the food would not taste ........ but: Daughter (11) did not really want a burger but completely plastered it + dessert Mrs. turkey escalope with sweet potatoes, the cook has made of itself extra seared vegetables! Although I'm not a friend of sweet potatoes but the order next time I too !!!! I had a 400gr steak grilled to the point! Too bad that there are no 6 stars! Normally there is always one in the family who has food issues but in this case we all agreed! A tip: If you want to eat from 18.00 o'clock should reserve beforehand! Fortunately, we were already 17.00 clock there 1.std later we would have been unlucky (full)!

The people working are incredibly kind and thoughtful. Great service. Wonderful food. The portions are ample. Can't beat the price. Really enjoyed our experience.

Wonderful place. The manager and staff were very hospitable. The steak was perfectly cooked, very tender, with great onions, sauce, and noodles. It wasn't exactly on the menu but was made according to my tastes. I was made to feel vet special. I thank them for a delightful visit.

The food was exceptional. We ordered 3 different dishes and everything was delicious. We made sure to leave room for desert. We don't regret it. The deserts were amazing too. Prices are reasonable. We loved this place and will be back soon.

The pancakes and eggs were delicious. My son had the steak and it was juicy and delicious as well. I will return!!!

Best bbq I've had outside of the US

Great Food and Moe is an excellent host. He can also mix many cocktails that are not on the menu in generous sizes. He makes some of the best fries, crispy and fluffy at the same time. The Burgers are on point, and spare ribs are very tender and flavorful. The kitchen is small so you may have to wait when the place is busy, but its worth it.
